People who ridicule Ishida for being both four-eyed and rather handy with the needle, often do not get the opportunity to do so a second time.
Ishida Uryuu picture has now been added to the Cosplay Crochet - Anime category.
Ishida was commissioned by Dang, who also bought my Ichigo Kurosaki doll. :D Glasses were bloody hard to do, just to let you know.
keychain + 4 inches high + nondetachable bow + nondetachable glasses + black eye beads = quincy archer hates you. <3
And a very Merry Christmas, all! :D
Made for Jac!
My first attempt at making a customized Ragnarok Online character. I have about a High Wizard and High Priestess still pending, but figured I should make this first, because the priestess was a relatively easier class to crochet. And as much of an agnostic as I am, I like Cloudmist's picture by the cross. :)
Work just about pwned me. Am hoping that the holidays and a brief week's respite from work will help me catch up to all my pending crochet orders.
Orange juice, Ryoma feels, is always the better alternative to Inui's juice concoctions.
4 inches high, and removable cap. keychain is attached to the back of Ryoma's neck, instead of at the top of his head as is normal. Created for mao. :D Which means, I have about two more dolls pending for him, which I hope will be done sometime this week or the next.
Photo uploaded to the J-Artists album. Bigger images right this way.
This version of Hiroto has little wings attached, non-detachable, as per the photo that I was basing him on. The pictures don't show it well either, but Hiroto has some gold abstract designs running down the sides of his pants, and a little funky belt with rings.
Hair is also predominantly blonde, but with black roots. Took me awhile to figure out how to make that realistic. :D
Though powerful in her own right, and only second to Odin in ability, Freya hides a soft spot for all things beautiful.
A photo uploaded to the Cosplay Crochet - Video games album. If you'd like, you can find bigger images here.
Non-detachable hat. It was a little hard trying to get it to conform to the actual character's hat, whichis slightly dented and bloated at the top part, but at least it's not a bad try. I also added some minor details to the hat, so some of the photos were reuploaded to show it off. :D
Requested (and paid for) by mao!
Life may not always be a bed of roses, but Kanon seems to be doing just fine on his own.
Blue lace gave me a harder time than is normal. It kept on going off in all directions, so it took awhile for it to settle down (at the time of the picture, I hadn't used anything to settle the ribbon lace yet).
Also, some funky blond highlights for Kanon! I actually did enjoy making his costume, since it's quite different from what I usually see Japanese musicians wear - it makes him look like a wind-up toy of sorts ^^ I can see why a lot of people find him adorable. XD
Kanon, by the way, is from the same band Bou as formerly in - Antic Cafe. Have not heard their music yet (I don't usually go out of my way to find and listen to J-music, but I do fall in love with a lot that do come my way)
A photo of Kanon that I used for basis:
Meet little Ninja-tan.
Ninjas like to hide out in the oddest places, in the hopes of staying invisible. Little Ninja-tan, while dressed for the part and with shuriken at the ready, still has a long way to go.
4 inches high, set as a keychain, mercerized cotton. Comes with non-detachable shuriken, but weapon can be removed from doll upon request.
I actually enjoyed making this little fella, and the name "Ninja-tan" just popped into my head while making him. Shuriken was delightfully easier to make than I had originally expected, which is always an added bonus.
For those in the Philippines, I'll be selling a little stuff at the Cosplay.ph booth over at New Worlds this October 27 at the Glorietta, so do drop by! :D Just, um, look for someone in an Inara Serra costume by the cosplay.ph stall.
Speaking of Inara Serra, extremely happy to have found a dress that, while may be of a slight color variation than the original, is almost a good copy of Inara Serra's clothes. Making the belt and a few of her bangles (and dolling up the hair and face - I'm probably going to wind up feeling like I'm going to a debut or something) and I'll be good to go!
Ichigo was all too aware that his Zangetsu was a pretty big sword by all zanpakutou standards, but after spotting the ornate sword display, he realized all too quickly that one wasn't always satisfied with what one already had.
crossposted to as well as my personal livejournal.
Featuring Ichigo Kurosaki from Bleach. ♥ And since we've got Ichigo already, everyone and their mother knows that a veritable Yuki Eiri design shall be following shortly. And lord willing, ♥ My fandoms are too obvious.
I kindof decided that I do like finding some nice scenery and props to post my dolls in, rather than just taking shots of them. It gives a little bit of variety, methinks. Also, I had no idea making spiky hard (getting spiky hair to keep standing up, actually) was going to be so difficult.
Fortunately, I'm a genius.
Also first attempt at making a prop to go with the crochet doll - Ichigo's zangetsu, in this case. This was pretty much improvisation as I went along, and some cardboard inside to keep the sword standing. (It actually looks like a kitchen knife all by itself, but a passable zangetsu when anywhere near Ichigo's vicinity)
Every year, more than 1,000,000 mushrooms are butted out of their brick blocks, and willfully consumed by plumbers, despite the growing awareness of their value. There are now fewer species of Super and 1-up mushrooms than ever, threatening the ecological balance of the Mushroom Kingdom.
Every keychain you buy helps us keep the mushrooms safe from evil Italian mustachioed blue-collar workers.
A Mushroom Kingdom without mushrooms is a terrible thing to imagine. Remember - you CAN make a difference!
In other words, the site is finally up!
All that reading is making these beanies a little too full of themselves. You can say that they're getting a bit too puffed up with their own importance.
Made with mercerized cotton and set in keychain. More colors available than featured in the photos.
Paypal now allows those living in the Philippines to receive payments, finally!
